How do I care for my blooms?
Here are a few tips to keep your blooms to last longer:
1. Change the Water Daily Fresh, clean water is key to extending vase life. Replace or top off the water in your vase every day
2. Trim the Stems Re-cut stems at a 45-degree angle every few days to help flowers absorb water more efficiently.
3. Keep Vases Clean Always wash vases with soap and water before use
4. Remove Foliage Below the Waterline Leaves sitting in water decay quickly and promote bacteria growth. Strip any submerged foliage to keep the water fresh. 5. Avoid Heat & Direct Sunlight Place flowers in a cool spot, away from direct sunlight, heat vents, and radiators. Avoid placing them near ripening fruit, which releases ethylene gas that shortens bloom life. For faster blooming, place buds in a warm area with indirect sunlight.
